About

Sign Bar is a brand-new, completely immersive bar experience located in east Austin. What started as a passion project of collecting deserted yet legendary bar and restaurant signs evolved into a desire to preserve the history of an Austin forgotten. In collaboration with local artists, sign makers, interior designers and fabricators, we created a concept not only unique to Austin and Texas but the country as a whole which memorializes our beautifully weird city's foundational roots.

Howdy Y’all, I’m one of them Californians but I got here when I was 17 and never left! I’ve bartended all over Austin but this place feels like home.

I am so excited to be part of the Sign Bar team. It’s a magical place full of memories. My favorite part of working at Sign Bar is hearing the stories and memories that our guests share with us. Each sign has a story or meaning for someone and I love to hear them.

Bring your dogs….I love dogs…

Come tell me your sign and your story and let’s make each other’s day!

Brandon originally sought to be a counselor but figured bartending was close enough. Therapy with a twist of lime, right? He's been in the service industry since Geroge W's first term. For the last six years, he's been pouring his heart out here in the capital. Whether it’s during a Sunday Funday, slinging whiskey, or enjoying family time, Brandon does his part to keep Austin weird. Drop by for a quick therapy session, he can't wait to meet you!

I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, but moved to Austin in 2010. I’ve been bartending for 10 years, most of which done so at Barton Springs Saloon. I love getting to know regulars and welcoming new faces.

I’m so happy to be a part of the Sign Bar family! I love the fun atmosphere and all the members of the team feel like family. My favorite part is hearing guests reminiscing on all the adventures they had when they see a sign that sparks a memory. I also love greeting our guests with a smile and their dogs with a treat.
